The Santa Monica Beach lots right off Pacific Coast Highway and Ocean Avenue are your most convenient bet, but they fill fast on summer weekends — aim to arrive before late morning. There's metered street parking along Ocean Ave too, though it goes quickly. We'll always send your exact setup spot and the closest lot the day before.

Late spring through early fall (May–October) is prime season. Mornings can start with a little marine-layer haze that usually burns off by midday, and weekday mornings are blissfully uncrowded if you want a quieter vibe. For events, nothing beats a late-afternoon start that carries into sunset.
